- Finish Cooking: Once cooking is complete, turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the "OFF" position. The indicator light will turn off.
- Cool Down: Unplug the hot plate from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing. The surface will remain hot for some time after use.
Note: Always use cookware with a diameter similar to or slightly larger than the heating element for optimal efficiency and safety.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your hot plate.

- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used. Dry thoroughly.
- Heating Element: For the radiant heating element, gently wipe away any spills or food residue with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the hot plate, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the hot plate in a dry place when not in use. Ensure the cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
