Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on in the dark. | 1. Insufficient darkness. 2. Dead or improperly installed batteries. 3. Sensor reset required. | 1. Ensure the area is sufficiently dark for the photocell sensor to activate. 2. Check battery orientation and replace with fresh batteries if necessary. 3. Perform a sensor reset: Place the light in a well-lit room with the sensor facing the light for 10 minutes, then move it to a dark, motionless room for 10 full minutes. Test in a dark room. |
| Light turns on randomly or stays on. | 1. Constant motion in detection range. 2. Sensor interference or fault. 3. Sensor reset required. | 1. Ensure there are no objects or environmental factors (e.g., drafts, pets) causing constant motion within the sensor's range. 2. Perform a sensor reset as described above. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Light is dim. | Low battery power. | Replace all batteries with a fresh set. |
