  1. Preheating: Close the waffle maker and plug it into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The red 'ON' light will illuminate. The green 'READY' light will illuminate and an audible beep will sound when the waffle maker has reached the optimal cooking temperature. This typically takes 5-6 minutes.
  2. Adjusting Browning: Use the temperature control dial on the front of the unit to select your desired browning level from 1 (lightest) to 5 (darkest).

  4. Adding Batter: Once the 'READY' light is green, open the lid and pour your waffle batter evenly onto the lower waffle plates. For best results, ensure the batter spreads to all four sections.
  5. Cooking: Close the lid. The 'READY' light may turn off during cooking. An audible beep will sound again and the 'READY' light will illuminate when your waffles are done. Cooking time varies based on batter type and selected browning level. Steam may escape from the sides during cooking.
  6. Removing Waffles: Once cooked, open the lid and carefully remove the waffles using a heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensil. Avoid using metal utensils as they can damage the nonstick coating.
