1. Introduction

The TIDIShield Ultradent VALO Cordless LED Curing Light Sleeve is designed to provide a safe and effective barrier between dental instruments and patients. These single-use sleeves are custom-designed for VALO Cordless LED dental curing lights, ensuring a precise fit and minimizing the need for reprocessing and sterilization of the instrument itself.

2. What's in the Box

• 500 Curing Light Sleeves (5 boxes of 100 sleeves each).

3. Setup

The TIDIShield sleeves are designed for quick and easy application to the VALO Cordless LED dental curing light. Each sleeve is individually wrapped to maintain sterility and prevent contamination prior to use.

1. Ensure hands are gloved and clean before handling the sleeve.
2. Carefully peel open the individually wrapped sleeve. The easy-to-peel wrapping ensures efficient access while protecting the sleeve.
3. Gently insert the VALO Cordless LED dental curing light into the sleeve, ensuring the light's tip aligns with the SureCure Window.
4. Smooth the sleeve along the body of the curing light to ensure a snug, custom fit. The soft, rounded edges of the sleeve are designed for patient comfort and to prevent excess material.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the TIDIShield sleeve is properly applied, the VALO Cordless LED dental curing light is ready for use. The SureCure Window is a critical feature, ensuring that the LED light can effectively reach the restoration without degradation, providing confident cures.

The custom fit of the sleeve allows for easy access to the curing light's buttons and controls, ensuring seamless operation during dental procedures.

5. Maintenance

TIDIShield sleeves are single-use barriers designed to minimize the potential for buildup on the dental instrument. After each patient use, the sleeve should be carefully removed and disposed of according to standard medical waste protocols. This eliminates the need for extensive cleaning and disinfection of the curing light itself, streamlining workflow and enhancing safety.

To remove the sleeve, grasp the base of the sleeve and slide it off the curing light, turning it inside out to contain any potential contaminants. Dispose of the used sleeve immediately.

TIDIShield sleeves are designed for reliable performance. If you encounter any issues, please review the following:

• Sleeve does not fit properly: Ensure you are using the correct TIDIShield sleeve model (21105) specifically designed for VALO Cordless LED dental curing lights.
• Light output appears diminished: Verify that the SureCure Window is correctly positioned over the curing light's tip and is free from wrinkles or obstructions. The window is engineered to allow optimal light transmission.
• Difficulty peeling wrapper: Ensure the wrapper is peeled from the designated easy-peel tab.
