- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Test the light fixture.
5. Operating Instructions
This Project Source ceiling fixture is designed for simple operation. Once properly installed and powered, it can be controlled via a standard wall switch. If your electrical setup includes a dimmer switch, ensure it is compatible with the type of bulbs you are using.
The product specifications indicate a "Remote" control method. If your specific model includes a remote control, please refer to the separate remote control instructions for pairing and operation. Otherwise, the fixture operates solely via the wall switch.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your ceiling fixture.
- Cleaning: Always turn off power to the fixture and allow it to cool before cleaning. Wipe the fixture body with a soft, dry cloth. For the glass shade, use a mild glass cleaner applied to a cloth (not directly to the glass) and wipe gently. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off and bulbs are cool before attempting to replace them. Unscrew the decorative finial and carefully remove the glass shade. Replace old bulbs with new ones of the correct type and wattage. Reattach the glass shade and finial.
