Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have a second person assist with certain steps.

Step 1: Assemble the Base Unit

  1. Lay one C-shaped base leg (B) on a flat surface with the ridged holes facing upwards.
  2. Attach two straight support bars (E)(1) and (E)(2) to base leg (B) using short screws (K) with rings (O). Tighten with the provided Allen wrench (AA).
  3. Attach the other C-shaped base leg (C) to the other end of the support bars (E)(1) and (E)(2) using short screws (K) with rings (O). Ensure all screws are tightened.

Step 2: Attach Gliding Mechanisms

  1. Stand the assembled base unit upright.
  2. Take a swinging mechanism (H), ensuring the indentation is at the top and the protrusion is at the bottom. The small hole in the arm of the paddle should be closer to the top.
  3. Align the top of the paddle (H) with one of the holes on the side of the base unit near the curve. The paddle should be on the outside of the base.
  4. Insert a very long screw (N) through the indentation at the top of the paddle, through the base, and secure with a ring (O) and nut (P) on the inside. Tighten securely.
  5. Repeat for all four paddles, ensuring they are on the outside of the base with the indentation at the top and the protrusion at the bottom.

Step 3: Connect Paddles with Connector Bars

  1. Place connector bar (D)(1) between the two front paddles (inside the base unit), aligning it with the small holes towards the top of the paddles.
  2. Insert a long screw (L) with a ring (O) through the small hole on the outside of each paddle and into the connector bar. Tighten.
  3. Repeat this process for the back two paddles using connector bar (D)(2).

Step 4: Attach Top/Arm Units

  1. With the base unit upright, position one top/arm unit (A) against the outside of the base. Ensure the indented curved portion faces the front of the base (where the legs have an opening).
  2. Lift the top/arm unit slightly to align its bottom holes with the protrusions on the bottom of the two side paddles.
  3. Insert a very long screw (N) from the inside of the base unit, through the paddle, and out through the arm unit. Secure with a ring (O) and nut (P) on the outside. Tighten.
  4. Do not attach the second top/arm unit to its paddles yet.

Step 5: Connect Arm Units with Connector Bars

  1. Attach connector bar (F)(1) to the hole on the inside of the attached top/arm unit, below the curved indentation. Use a long screw (M) with a ring (O) from the outside of the arm unit.
  2. Repeat for connector bar (F)(2) at the bottom of the same arm unit.
  3. Position the second top/arm unit (A) against the other side of the base, mirroring the first.
  4. Align and screw the front (F)(1) and bottom (F)(2) connector bars to the second arm unit.
  5. Once both arm units are connected by the bars, align the bottom of the remaining paddles with the bottom portion of the second arm unit and secure with very long screws (N), rings (O), and nuts (P) as done in Step 4.

Step 6: Attach Chair Back and Seat

  1. Position the chair back near the back of the base and inside the arm units.
  2. Align the holes on the side supports of the chair back with the holes in the back curve of the arm unit.
  3. Insert a very long screw (N) from the outside of the arm unit, through a thick washer (J) placed between the arm and chair back, and then through the chair back. Secure with a ring (O) and nut (P). Repeat for the other side.
  4. Fold the seat of the chair down so the front is near the front of the arm unit, at the indentation.
  5. Insert a very long screw (N) through the outside of the arm unit, just below the indentation, through a thick washer (J) between the arm and chair seat, and then through the chair seat. Secure with a ring (O) and nut (P) underneath the seat. Repeat for the other side.

After completing all steps, re-check all screws and bolts to ensure they are fully tightened for stability and safety.
