1. Introduction

2. Package Contents

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The KidiZoom Camera Pix requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the camera.
2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the cover and tighten the screw securely.

4.2 Memory Card Installation (Optional)

The camera has built-in memory, but you can expand storage with a microSD card (sold separately). To install:

1. Locate the microSD card slot, usually near the battery compartment or on the side.
2. Insert the microSD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

4.3 Connecting to a Computer

To transfer photos and videos, connect the camera to a computer using a Micro USB cable (sold separately).

1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
2. Connect one end of the Micro USB cable to the camera's USB port.
3. Connect the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
4. The camera will appear as a removable drive on your computer, allowing you to access and transfer files.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a circle and a line).
• To power off, press and hold the Power button again. The camera will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2 Taking Photos

The KidiZoom Camera Pix features a 2.0-megapixel sensor and 4x digital zoom.

1. Turn the camera on.
2. Select the Camera mode from the main menu.
3. Point the camera at your subject.
4. Press the Shutter button to take a picture.

Selfie Mode: Rotate the lens 180 degrees to face yourself. The camera will automatically detect faces for easy selfie capture.

5.3 Recording Videos

Capture moving moments with the video recorder function.

1. From the main menu, select the Video mode.
2. Press the Record button to start recording.
3. Press the Record button again to stop recording.

5.4 Voice Recorder

Record and play back short audio clips.

1. Select the Voice Recorder mode from the main menu.
2. Press the Record button to begin recording your voice.
3. Press the Stop button to end the recording.
4. Use the Play button to listen to your recordings.

5.5 Photo Effects and Collages

Enhance your pictures with over 35 fun photo effects and creative collage templates.

1. After taking a photo, or when viewing a saved photo, navigate to the editing options.
2. Choose from various static or animated effects, or select a collage template to combine multiple photos.

The camera includes 4 built-in games for entertainment.

1. Select the Games icon from the main menu.
2. Choose from the available games and follow the on-screen instructions to play.
