1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your Barrina T8 LED Light Tubes. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power before installation, inspection, or removal.
• Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or trained personnel.
• Ensure the supply voltage is compatible with the product's specifications (AC85~275V).
• Do not use in enclosed fixtures unless specifically rated for such use.
• Do not disassemble or modify the LED tube. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source when illuminated.
• This product is designed for indoor use only.

6. Installation Guide (Dual-Ended Power)

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning any electrical work.

1. Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the fixture and turn it off. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Remove existing fluorescent tubes: Carefully remove the old fluorescent tubes from the fixture.
3. Disconnect and remove ballast: Cut the wires leading to the existing ballast and remove the ballast from the fixture.
4. Wire the fixture: Refer to the wiring diagram below for dual-ended power connection. Connect the live (hot) wire to one end of the fixture and the neutral wire to the other end. Ensure all connections are secure.
5. Install LED retrofit tube(s): Insert the Barrina T8 LED tubes into the fixture sockets.
6. Restore power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, turn the circuit breaker back on.

7. Operating Instructions

Once properly installed and powered, the Barrina T8 LED Light Tubes operate by simply activating the wall switch or power source connected to the fixture. There are no additional controls on the tubes themselves.

8. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Wipe the tubes with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the tubes and wiring for any signs of damage or loose connections.
• No User-Serviceable Parts: The LED tubes do not contain any user-serviceable components. Attempting to open or repair the tube will void the warranty and may pose a safety risk.

9. Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the power supply is connected and the circuit breaker is on.
  • Verify that the wiring connections are secure and correct according to the installation diagram.
  • Ensure the LED tube is properly seated in the fixture sockets.
• Light flickers:
  • Confirm that the old ballast has been completely bypassed or removed. These LED tubes are designed for direct wire installation.
  • Check for loose wiring connections.
• If issues persist after checking these points, contact customer support.

10. Warranty Information

Barrina T8 LED Light Tubes are covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
