2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances.

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Remove all packaging materials and inspect the ice maker for any damage.
  2. Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. This portable ice maker does not require direct waterline access, offering flexible placement options.

5.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker:

  1. Remove the ice basket.
  2. Clean the interior with a soft cloth and warm water with a mild detergent.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and drain any remaining water through the drain cap.
  4. Wipe all surfaces dry.

5.3 Adding Water

  1. Open the cover and remove the ice basket.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Using distilled water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup and maintain ice clarity.
  3. Replace the ice basket and close the cover.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On and Selecting Ice Size

  1. Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The 'Power' indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Press the 'On/Off' button to start the ice making cycle.
  3. Press the 'Select' button to choose your desired ice cube size: 'S' for small or 'L' for large. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

6.2 Ice Production

  • The ice maker can produce ice in as little as 7 minutes per cycle.
  • Each cycle yields approximately 9 ice cubes.
  • The 'Ice Full' indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the machine will pause operation.
  • The 'Add Water' indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low, and the machine will pause operation. Refill the reservoir to resume.
  • Unused ice cubes that melt will automatically recycle back into the water reservoir for future ice production.

6.3 Serving Ice

  1. Open the cover and use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice cubes from the basket.
  2. For best results, transfer freshly made ice to a freezer for storage to prevent melting. This ice maker is not designed to be a freezer.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your ice maker.

7.1 Daily Cleaning

  1. Unplug the appliance.
  2. Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.

7.2 Deep Cleaning (Monthly or as needed)

  1. Unplug the appliance and drain all water from the reservoir using the drain cap.
  2. Prepare a cleaning solution of equal parts white vinegar and water.
  3. Pour the solution into the water reservoir.
  4. Run a few ice-making cycles with the cleaning solution (discard the ice produced during these cycles).
  5. Drain the solution and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water several times.
  6. Use a soft brush to scrub any hard-to-reach areas or mineral deposits.
  7. Wipe all surfaces dry before reassembling and using.
