3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the DC IN port located under the protective rubber cover on the rear of the speaker (refer to Figure 2). Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will illuminate, typically red, and turn off or change color when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 6 hours of playback.

3.2 Powering On/Off

To power on or off the speaker, locate the ON/OFF switch under the protective rubber cover on the rear of the device (refer to Figure 2). Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on, and to 'OFF' to power off.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select 'LAMAX Sentinel SE-1' from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.

3.4 SD Card Insertion

To play music from an SD card, gently insert a microSD card (with MP3 files) into the SD card slot, usually located near the charging port under the protective cover. The speaker will automatically switch to SD card playback mode.

3.5 AUX Connection

For wired audio playback, connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker (under the protective cover) and the other end to the audio output of your device. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

The top panel of the speaker features control buttons (refer to Figure 1):

• Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music.
• Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Long press to skip to the next track/station.
• Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume. Long press to skip to the previous track/station.
• Mode Button (M): Press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, and SD Card modes.

4.2 Bluetooth Mode

After successful pairing (Section 3.3), you can stream audio wirelessly from your connected device. Use the Play/Pause, Volume, and Track Skip buttons on the speaker or your device to control playback.

4.3 FM Radio Mode

1. Press the Mode (M) button to switch to FM Radio mode.
2. Long press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
3. Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons (long press) to navigate between saved stations.

4.4 SD Card Playback

Once an SD card with MP3 files is inserted, the speaker will automatically begin playback. Use the Play/Pause, Volume, and Track Skip buttons to control your music.

4.5 Hands-free Function

When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls:

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.

4.6 Flashlight Function
