Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the Digitradio 360 CD IR.
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
3. The device will power on or enter standby mode.

2. Antenna Setup

For optimal DAB+ and FM reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located at the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

3. Network Connection (Wi-Fi / LAN)

The Digitradio 360 CD IR can connect to your home network via Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet connection for Internet Radio and network streaming features.

Wi-Fi Connection:

1. On the device, navigate to the "Settings" menu.
2. Select "Network" then "Wi-Fi Setup".
3. The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your network from the list.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and navigation buttons. Confirm your entry.
5. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon will appear on the display.

LAN (Ethernet) Connection:

1. Connect an Ethernet cable (not supplied) from your router to the RJ45 Ethernet port on the rear of the Digitradio 360 CD IR.
2. The device will automatically detect the wired connection and obtain an IP address via DHCP.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls

• Power Button: Press to turn the unit on or off (standby mode).
• Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust the volume level. Press to mute/unmute.
• Mode Button: Cycle through different operating modes (Internet Radio, DAB+, FM, CD, USB, AUX, Bluetooth).
• Navigation Buttons: Use the arrow buttons and ENTER button (on the remote or front panel) to navigate menus and confirm selections.
• Preset Buttons: Store and recall your favorite radio stations.

Radio Modes (DAB+, FM, Internet Radio)

DAB+ / FM Radio:

1. Press the Mode button until DAB+ or FM mode is selected.
2. For first-time use or to rescan, initiate an automatic station scan from the menu.
3. Use the navigation buttons to browse available stations.
4. To save a station as a preset, press and hold a preset number button (1-9) until "Preset Saved" appears.

Internet Radio:

1. Ensure the device is connected to your network (Wi-Fi or LAN).
2. Press the Mode button until Internet Radio mode is selected.
3. Browse stations by location, genre, or search for specific stations.
4. Add favorite stations to your presets for quick access.

CD Playback

1. Gently insert an audio CD into the CD slot on the front of the unit. The CD will be automatically drawn in.
2. The unit will automatically switch to CD mode and begin playback.
3. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Skip, Stop) on the unit or remote control.
4. To eject the CD, press the Eject button (usually labeled with an eject symbol).

USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files (e.g., MP3, WMA) into the USB port on the front panel.
2. Press the Mode button until USB mode is selected.
3. Navigate through folders and select the desired audio file for playback.

Bluetooth Streaming

1. Press the Mode button until Bluetooth mode is selected. The display will show "Pairing".
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Digitradio 360 CD IR" from the list.
4. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.

Spotify Connect

The Digitradio 360 CD IR supports Spotify Connect, allowing you to control music playback directly from the Spotify app on your smartphone or tablet. A Spotify Premium account is required.

1. Ensure your Digitradio 360 CD IR and your smartphone/tablet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Spotify app on your device.
3. Play a song, then tap the "Devices Available" icon (usually a speaker or computer icon).
4. Select "Digitradio 360 CD IR" from the list of available devices.
5. The music will now play through your radio, controlled by the Spotify app.

Multiroom Functionality

The multiroom feature allows you to synchronize music playback across multiple compatible TechniSat devices in different rooms. Refer to the TechniSat Connect app for detailed setup and control of multiroom audio.
