3. Setup Guide
- Unfold the Solar Panel: Carefully unfold all four solar panels to their full extension.
- Position for Optimal Sunlight: Place the solar panel directly under sunlight. For best results, adjust the angle of the panel to face the sun directly. You can use the included carabiners to attach the panel to a backpack, tent, or other stable surface to maintain optimal sun exposure.
- Access USB Ports: Locate the USB junction box within the zippered pouch on the side of the panel.
- Connect Your Device: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable or your device's original charging cable to connect your device to one of the available USB-A or USB-C output ports.
The LED indicator light on the USB junction box will glow solid blue when the charger is receiving sufficient sunlight and charging properly.

4. Operating Instructions
- Direct Charging: Connect your device directly to the solar charger's USB ports. Ensure the panel is in direct sunlight for optimal charging speed.
- Charging Multiple Devices: The triple-port design allows you to charge up to three devices simultaneously. Note that charging speed may vary depending on the number of devices connected and the intensity of sunlight.
- Using a Power Bank (Recommended): For more consistent power delivery, especially in fluctuating sunlight conditions, it is recommended to charge a power bank first. Once the power bank is charged, you can then use it to charge your devices at any time, regardless of sunlight availability. This also helps protect your devices from inconsistent power flow.
The charging strength will differ based on weather conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy).
Important: The solar panel cannot store electricity. It must be used in direct sunlight while connected to your devices or a power bank. Do not leave your phone or other devices in direct sunlight while charging, as this can be detrimental to their battery health. Always keep the device being charged in the shade or within the charger's integrated pouch.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the solar panels with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the solar charger and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: The panel's surface is IP44 waterproof, protecting against occasional rain or fog. However, the USB junction box is not waterproof and should be kept dry.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device not charging / LED indicator not lit | Insufficient sunlight; panel not positioned correctly; device not properly connected. | Ensure the panel is in direct, strong sunlight. Adjust the panel's angle towards the sun. Check all cable connections. |
| Slow charging speed | Weak sunlight; multiple devices connected; long/low-quality charging cable; device in use while charging. | Move to stronger sunlight. Charge fewer devices simultaneously. Use a shorter, high-quality cable. Avoid using the device while charging. Turn off the device for faster charging. |
| Charger stops working temporarily | Temporary cloud cover; device overload. | The smart IC technology will automatically restart charging in about 30 seconds once sufficient sunlight returns. If overloaded, unplug devices and reconnect. |
| USB junction box is wet | Exposure to water. | Immediately disconnect all devices. Dry the junction box thoroughly before re-use. Avoid exposing it to water. |
