Product Features

High-Temperature Resistance

The X-48ATR is engineered to operate effectively in environments with temperatures up to 180°F (80°C), making it ideal for remediation sites, flooded areas, and locations exposed to heating elements.

Sealed Motor

Equipped with a 1/3 HP sealed motor, the fan is protected against water damage, ensuring reliable operation in damp or wet conditions, crucial for water restoration tasks.

Powerful & Energy-Efficient Airflow

Delivers 3600 CFM of airflow with a low 2.4 amp draw. The fan can project air up to 60 feet, providing efficient circulation while conserving energy.

Built-in Power Outlets

Features integrated power outlets, allowing you to daisy-chain up to six additional units for expanded coverage or to power other devices.

Versatile Positioning & Storage

Includes variable speed control, a 360-degree rotational rack/stand for flexible positioning, and a stackable design for easy storage. A 20-ft power cord with wrap-around storage is also included.

Setup

The XPOWER X-48ATR Axial Fan is designed for quick and easy setup.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the fan from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the fan on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the fan for optimal airflow and to prevent obstruction of the intake or exhaust.
  3. Positioning: Utilize the 360-degree rotational rack/stand to direct airflow as needed. The fan can be positioned flat, angled, or upright.
  4. Power Connection: Unwind the 20-ft power cord from its wrap-around storage. Plug the fan into a standard 120V AC power outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Locate the power switch on the control panel. Turn the switch to the "ON" position to start the fan and "OFF" to stop it.
  2. Adjusting Speed: Use the variable speed control knob to adjust the airflow intensity. Turn the knob clockwise to increase speed and counter-clockwise to decrease speed.
  3. Daisy-Chaining Units: For larger areas or increased airflow, multiple X-48ATR units can be daisy-chained. Plug the power cord of a second unit into one of the built-in power outlets on the first unit. Up to six units can be connected in this manner. Ensure the total amperage draw does not exceed the circuit's capacity.
  4. Optimizing Airflow:
    • Direct Drying: Point the fan directly at the area requiring drying or ventilation.
    • Air Recirculation: For general air circulation and gentle drying, position the fan to create a circular airflow pattern within the room.
    • Wall Bouncing: In smaller rooms, position the fan to bounce air off walls to ensure air reaches all corners.
    • Downward Drying: Utilize the 360-degree stand to point the fan downwards for drying floors or areas directly beneath the unit.
