Setup and Operation
The Figure 9 offers two primary methods for securing lines: the Fixed End System and the Loop System. Both methods are designed for quick and secure tensioning.

Fixed End System
- Secure one end of the guy line to your tent or a fixed anchor point using a knot.
- Pass the free end of the guy line through the larger opening of the Figure 9 device.
- Loop the line around the smaller hook of the Figure 9.
- Pull the line taut to achieve desired tension.
- Secure the line by wrapping it around the serrated edge of the Figure 9, ensuring it locks into place.
Loop System
- Create a loop in your guy line.
- Pass the loop through the larger opening of the Figure 9 device.
- Bring the loop around the smaller hook of the Figure 9.
- Pull the free end of the line to adjust the size of the loop and achieve tension.
- Lock the line by wrapping it around the serrated edge of the Figure 9.
