4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

4.2 Attaching the Nozzle

1. Insert the nozzle into the opening at the top of the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
2. To remove the nozzle, press the nozzle release button (usually located on the back or side of the unit) and pull the nozzle straight out.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

1. Open the water tank cap located on the side of the unit.
2. Fill the tank with lukewarm water. You may also add a small amount of mouthwash if desired, but ensure it is non-foaming.
3. Close the water tank cap securely to prevent leakage.

5.1 Basic Operation

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the nozzle is securely attached.
2. Press the power button to turn on the device. The device will start in the last used mode.
3. To change the mode (Normal, Soft, Pulse), press the mode button repeatedly until the desired mode indicator light illuminates.
4. Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming the water jet at your gumline at a 90-degree angle.
5. Move the nozzle along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth to allow the water to clean thoroughly.
6. The device will automatically shut off after 2 minutes. You can manually turn it off by pressing the power button again.
7. Empty any remaining water from the tank after each use.

5.2 Recommended Usage

• Start with the 'Soft' mode if you are new to oral irrigators or have sensitive gums. Gradually increase to 'Normal' mode as you become accustomed.
• Use the 'Pulse' mode for gum massage and improved circulation.
• For optimal results, use the oral irrigator after brushing your teeth.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your oral irrigator.

6.1 Cleaning the Main Unit and Water Tank

1. After each use, empty any remaining water from the tank.
2. Rinse the water tank thoroughly with clean water.
3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
4. For a deeper clean, the water tank can be detached and washed with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.

6.2 Cleaning the Nozzle

1. Remove the nozzle from the main unit.
2. Rinse the nozzle under running water.
3. Periodically, soak the nozzle in a cup of white vinegar for 5-10 minutes to remove mineral deposits, then rinse thoroughly.
