4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
- Connect the power adapter to the charging base.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Place the main unit onto the charging base. The indicator light will illuminate to show charging is in progress.
- Charge the device for at least 24 hours before first use to ensure a full battery.
4.2 Attaching the Nozzle
- Insert the nozzle into the opening at the top of the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the nozzle, press the nozzle release button (usually located on the back or side of the unit) and pull the nozzle straight out.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Open the water tank cap located on the side of the unit.
- Fill the tank with lukewarm water. You may also add a small amount of mouthwash if desired, but ensure it is non-foaming.
- Close the water tank cap securely to prevent leakage.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the nozzle is securely attached.
- Press the power button to turn on the device. The device will start in the last used mode.
- To change the mode (Normal, Soft, Pulse), press the mode button repeatedly until the desired mode indicator light illuminates.
- Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming the water jet at your gumline at a 90-degree angle.
- Move the nozzle along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth to allow the water to clean thoroughly.
- The device will automatically shut off after 2 minutes. You can manually turn it off by pressing the power button again.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank after each use.
5.2 Recommended Usage
- Start with the 'Soft' mode if you are new to oral irrigators or have sensitive gums. Gradually increase to 'Normal' mode as you become accustomed.
- Use the 'Pulse' mode for gum massage and improved circulation.
- For optimal results, use the oral irrigator after brushing your teeth.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
