1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your QFX BT-84 Bluetooth Rechargeable Portable Speaker. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.

4. Controls and Connections

Familiarize yourself with the control panel and connection ports on your speaker.

• MIC.IN: 6.35mm input for a microphone.
• USB: USB port for playing audio files from a USB drive.
• AUX.IN: 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting external audio devices.
• PREV/PLAY/NEXT: Buttons for track control and play/pause.
• MODE: Button to switch between input modes (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, FM).
• LED ON/OFF: Button to control the LED party lights.
• DC 5V: Micro USB charging port.
• POWER ON/OFF: Rotary switch for power and volume control.
• VOLUME: Rotary knob to adjust the master volume.

5. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the speaker and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the speaker's battery. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The CHARGE LED will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
3. Power On: Turn the POWER/VOLUME knob clockwise to power on the speaker. The display will light up.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Bluetooth Mode

1. Power on the speaker.
2. Press the MODE button until "BLUE" appears on the display, indicating Bluetooth mode. The speaker will enter pairing mode.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and search for available devices.
4. Select "QFX BT-84" from the list of devices. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone.
5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker. Use the PREV/PLAY/NEXT buttons on the speaker or your device to control playback.

6.2. Auxiliary (AUX) Input Mode

1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your external audio device's headphone jack or AUX output to the AUX.IN port on the speaker.
2. Press the MODE button until "AUX" appears on the display.
3. Play audio from your connected device. Volume can be adjusted on both the speaker and the external device.

6.3. USB Playback Mode

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing the audio files. If not, press the MODE button until "USB" appears.
3. Use the PREV/PLAY/NEXT buttons to control playback.

6.4. FM Radio Mode

1. Press the MODE button until "FM" appears on the display.
2. To auto-scan and save available FM stations, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
3. Use the PREV and NEXT buttons to navigate through the saved stations.

6.5. LED Party Lights

Press the LED ON/OFF button to toggle the integrated LED party lights on or off.

6.6. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

The TWS function allows you to connect two BT-84 speakers wirelessly for a stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both BT-84 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the PLAY/TWS button for a few seconds. The speaker will emit a tone, indicating it's searching for another TWS-compatible speaker.
3. The two speakers will automatically pair. Once connected, a confirmation tone will sound.
4. Connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in Section 6.1. Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.

7. Charging the Speaker

The QFX BT-84 speaker features a built-in rechargeable battery.

• Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker.
• Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (e.g., smartphone charger, computer USB port) with a 5V 1A output.
• The CHARGE LED indicator will light up during charging.
• The CHARGE LED will turn off once the battery is fully charged.
• A full charge provides approximately 5-6 hours of playback time, depending on volume and usage.

8. Maintenance

• Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the speaker yourself. This will void the warranty.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
