Setup

  1. Battery Installation:

    Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the cover and insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.

  2. Placement:

    Place the scale on a firm, flat, and level surface. Avoid soft surfaces like carpets or rugs, as this can lead to inaccurate readings. Keep the scale away from excessive humidity.

  3. Unit Selection:

    On the underside of the scale, there is a unit button. Press this button to cycle through the available measurement units: pounds (lbs), kilograms (kg), and stones (st). Select your preferred unit before weighing.

  4. Initial Calibration:

    The Ozeri ProMax scale features auto-calibration. For the first use or after moving the scale, briefly step on it until a reading appears, then step off. The display will show '0.0' indicating it is ready for an accurate measurement.

Operating Instructions

  1. Weighing Yourself:

    Once the scale displays '0.0', step onto the center of the scale with bare feet. Stand still and wait for the display to stabilize and show your weight. The large 4.3-inch blue backlight LCD ensures clear readability.

  2. Accuracy:

    The scale measures to the nearest 0.1 lbs (0.05 kg). For consistent readings, ensure the scale is on a stable, hard surface and you stand still during measurement. Avoid placing objects on the scale that might cause it to activate and zero out at an incorrect weight.

  3. Using the Bonus Body Tape Measure and Fat Caliper:

    The included body tape measure and fat caliper can be used to track body circumference and estimate body fat percentage. Refer to the separate instructions provided with these accessories for detailed usage guidelines.
