Setup

1. Unpacking the Truck

Carefully remove the Tonka Mighty Motorized Garbage Truck and its accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the "Package Contents" section are present.

2. Battery Installation/Replacement

The truck comes with 3 AA batteries pre-installed. If replacement is needed:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the truck.
  2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove the old batteries and insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

Note: Always use fresh batteries for optimal performance.

1. Power On/Off

Locate the power switch on the underside or side of the truck. Slide it to the "ON" position to activate the truck's functions. Slide to "OFF" when not in use to conserve battery life.

2. Operating the Front Power Arm

The front power arm is controlled by levers located on the side of the truck. Push the lever to activate the motorized arm to lift or lower the sanitation bin. The arm will automatically stop at its maximum up or down position.

3. Sound Effects and Hyper-Lighting

Specific buttons or levers on the truck activate various sound effects, such as the horn and engine sounds. The Hyper-Lighting feature, including headlights, will activate automatically when certain functions are engaged or specific buttons are pressed.

4. Using the Sanitation Bin

Attach the provided sanitation bin to the front power arm. The arm is designed to lift and empty the bin into the truck's main compartment. The back door of the truck can be opened to retrieve contents or for cleaning.
