3. Setup
3.1 Connecting the Phone
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the phone base.
- Connect to Network:
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your network switch or router.
- If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the phone will power on automatically.
- Connect Power (if not using PoE): Plug the power adapter into the power port on the phone and then into an electrical outlet.
- Connect PC (Optional): If you wish to connect a computer through the phone, plug an Ethernet cable from your computer into the PC port on the phone.
3.2 Initial Boot-up

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Making a Call
- Lift the handset or press the Speaker button.

When the phone rings:
- Lift the handset.
- Alternatively, press the Speaker button to answer in speakerphone mode.
- Press the Answer soft key.
4.3 Ending a Call
To end an active call:
- Place the handset back in its cradle.
- If using speakerphone, press the Speaker button again or the End Call soft key.
4.4 Basic Call Features
- Hold: During a call, press the Hold soft key. Press it again to resume the call.
- Transfer: During a call, press the Transfer soft key, dial the new number, and then press Transfer again.
- Mute: Press the Mute button to mute your microphone. Press it again to unmute.
- Volume Control: Use the Volume buttons to adjust handset, speaker, or ringer volume.
