- Keep the speaker grilles free of dust and debris.
3.2 Battery Care
Proper battery care extends the life of your rechargeable battery:
- Fully charge the battery before first use.
- Recharge the battery after each use, even if only partially discharged.
- If storing the unit for an extended period, charge the battery every 2-3 months to prevent deep discharge, which can permanently damage the battery.
- Avoid operating the unit in extremely hot or cold temperatures, as this can affect battery performance and lifespan.
3.3 Storage
When not in use, store the speaker system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided protective cover to shield the unit from dust and scratches.
4. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PORT15UHF-BT speaker, refer to the table below for common problems and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound from speaker. | Power off; Volume too low; Incorrect input mode; Source device issue. | Ensure unit is powered on and charged. Increase master volume. Select correct input mode (Bluetooth, USB, AUX). Check audio on source device. |
| Microphone not working. | Microphone off; Low/dead batteries; Mic volume too low; Out of range. | Turn on microphone. Replace batteries. Increase MIC VOL. Ensure microphone is within 50-60m range (clear view). |
| Bluetooth connection unstable or fails. | Too far from speaker; Interference; Device not in pairing mode. | Move device closer to speaker. Avoid obstacles. Re-enter pairing mode on speaker and device. Disconnect other Bluetooth devices. |
| USB/SD playback issues. | Incompatible file format; Corrupted files; Drive/card not inserted correctly. | Ensure files are MP3/WMA format. Try different files. Reinsert USB drive/SD card. Format drive/card if necessary (backup data first). |
