Your SEVERIN microwave oven is a versatile appliance designed to heat, grill, and bake. It offers ten different power levels, including dedicated defrost and grilling functions, along with nine automatic cooking programs for a wide variety of dishes. The microwave, grill, and hot air functions can be used independently or in combination. The digital multifunction display with its modern LCD and timer ensures intuitive operation. For quick heating, a 'Quick' button allows for direct full-power start. Two included grill racks provide additional cooking space.

Setup and Installation
Unpacking
- Carefully remove the microwave oven from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials, including any protective film or tape from the appliance and accessories.
- Check for any damage during transit. If the appliance appears damaged, do not use it and contact your retailer.
Placement
Place the microwave oven on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, such as a kitchen countertop. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Allow at least 20 cm (7.9 inches) of space above the oven.
- Allow at least 10 cm (3.9 inches) of space at the rear and sides.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources and moisture.
The product dimensions are approximately 45.7 cm (length) x 40 cm (width) x 26.3 cm (height).

Power Connection
Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance's rating label matches your local mains voltage (230V). Plug the power cord into a properly grounded wall socket. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview
The microwave oven features a digital multifunction display and a control panel with various buttons and a rotary knob for easy operation.

Basic Operation (Microwave)
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door securely.
- Select the desired power level (10 levels available) using the appropriate button or rotary knob.
- Set the cooking time using the timer function.
- Press the Start button to begin cooking.
Grill Function
The grill function is ideal for browning and crisping food. Use the included grill racks for best results.
- Place food on a grill rack.
- Select the grill function.
- Set the desired grilling time.
- Press Start.
Hot Air (Convection) Function
The hot air function allows for baking and roasting, similar to a conventional oven.
- Place food in an oven-safe dish.
- Select the hot air function and desired temperature.
- Set the cooking time.
- Press Start.
Combination Cooking
This appliance allows you to combine microwave, grill, and hot air functions for versatile cooking results. Refer to the specific combination programs in the full manual for detailed instructions.
Automatic Programs
The oven features nine automatic cooking programs, including a pizza function, for convenient preparation of common dishes. Simply select the program and the appliance will automatically set the optimal cooking time and power.
Defrost Function
Use the defrost function to safely thaw frozen foods. You can typically defrost by weight or by time.
Quick Start
The 'Quick' button allows for an immediate start at full microwave power, typically for 30-second intervals, which can be extended by pressing the button repeatedly.
