The JENSEN JCR-210 is a versatile and compact AM/FM dual alarm clock radio designed to enhance your daily routine. It features a clear 1.2-inch green LED display with dimmer control, a digital AM/FM tuner with 10 AM and 10 FM presets for easy access to your favorite stations, and a built-in Aux-in jack for connecting external audio devices. A unique feature of the JCR-210 is its selection of four soothing nature sounds (White Noise, Ocean, Rain Forest, and Campfire) that can be used for waking up, falling asleep, or simply relaxing. The unit operates on 120V AC power and includes a battery backup system to preserve your settings during power outages.

Button Functions:
- TIME SET/MEMORY+ (M+): Used to set the time and save radio presets.
- HOUR (◀◀): Adjusts the hour during time setting; tunes radio frequency down.
- MINUTE (▶▶): Adjusts the minute during time setting; tunes radio frequency up.
- N.S. REPEAT: Repeats the current nature sound.
- N.S. SELECT: Cycles through the available nature sounds.
- VOLUME +/-: Adjusts the audio volume.
- MODE/ALARM OFF: Switches between modes (Radio, AUX, Time); turns off active alarm.
- SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER: Activates snooze, sets sleep timer, or adjusts display brightness.
- ALARM 1 / ALARM 2: Buttons for setting and activating Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.
6. Setup
6.1 Power Connection
Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack located on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.
6.2 Battery Backup Installation
The JCR-210 requires 2 x 'AAA' (UM-4) batteries (not included) for battery backup. This feature ensures that your time and alarm settings are retained in the event of a power interruption. To install the batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 2 'AAA' batteries according to the polarity diagram (+ or -) inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The battery backup only maintains time and alarm settings; the display will not illuminate and the alarm will not sound during a power outage.
6.3 Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME SET/MEMORY+ button until the display starts flashing.
- Press the HOUR button to adjust the hour. Press and hold for rapid adjustment.
- Press the MINUTE button to adjust the minute. Press and hold for rapid adjustment.
- Press TIME SET/MEMORY+ again to confirm and save the time.
7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Radio Operation (AM/FM)
- Press the MODE/ALARM OFF button repeatedly until "RADIO" appears on the display.
- Press the HOUR (◀◀) or MINUTE (▶▶) buttons to manually tune to your desired frequency. Press and hold for automatic station scanning.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME +/- buttons.
Setting Radio Presets:
The unit can store up to 10 AM and 10 FM radio stations.
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press the TIME SET/MEMORY+ (M+) button once. The preset number will flash.
- Use the HOUR (◀◀) or MINUTE (▶▶) buttons to select the desired preset number (P01-P10).
- Press TIME SET/MEMORY+ (M+) again to save the station to the selected preset.
- To recall a preset station, press the TIME SET/MEMORY+ (M+) button repeatedly in radio mode to cycle through saved presets.
7.2 Alarm Setting (Alarm 1 & Alarm 2)
The JCR-210 features two independent alarms.
- Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button until the alarm time flashes.
- Press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the MINUTE button to adjust the alarm minute.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button again to select the alarm source: Buzzer, Radio, or Nature Sound.
- If selecting Radio, tune to the desired station. If selecting Nature Sound, use N.S. SELECT to choose the sound.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button one more time to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
Turning Off an Alarm:
- When the alarm sounds, press the MODE/ALARM OFF button to turn it off for 24 hours. The alarm icon will remain, indicating it's set for the next day.
- To completely deactivate an alarm, press the corresponding ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button until the alarm icon disappears from the display.
7.3 Nature Sounds
The JCR-210 offers four built-in nature sounds for relaxation or waking up.

- Press the N.S. SELECT button to cycle through the nature sounds: White Noise, Ocean, Rain Forest, Campfire.
- Press N.S. REPEAT to replay the current nature sound.
- Adjust volume with VOLUME +/-.
7.4 Sleep and Snooze Functions
Sleep Timer:
The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to radio or nature sounds, which will automatically turn off after a set period.
- While listening to the radio or nature sounds, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.
Snooze:
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
7.5 Dimmer Control
To adjust the brightness of the 1.2-inch green LED display, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER button when the unit is not in alarm or sleep mode. Cycle through the available brightness levels (High, Low, Off).
7.6 Auxiliary Input (AUX-IN)
Connect your iPod, MP3 player, or other digital audio players to the AUX-IN jack located on the back of the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the MODE/ALARM OFF button repeatedly until "AUX" appears on the display.
- Start playback on your connected audio device.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME +/- buttons on the JCR-210 and/or your connected device.
8. Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
8.2 Battery Replacement
If the battery backup is not functioning correctly (e.g., time/settings are lost after a power outage), replace the 2 'AAA' batteries in the battery compartment as described in Section 6.2.
