  3. Press and hold the Menu and Right buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds.

If the remote does not pair, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the Apple TV, and that the batteries are correctly inserted and charged.

3. Operating Instructions

The Apple TV Remote provides intuitive control for your Apple TV and other compatible devices.

3.1. Button Functions

  • Click Wheel (Top Circle):
    • Press Center: Select an item or play/pause content.
    • Press Up/Down/Left/Right: Navigate through menus and options.
  • Menu Button: Return to the previous menu or the main Apple TV menu. Press and hold to return to the main menu from any screen.
  • Play/Pause Button: Play or pause selected content.

3.2. Controlling Apple TV

Use the click wheel to navigate through the Apple TV interface. Press the center button to select apps, movies, TV shows, or other content. Use the Play/Pause button for media playback control. The Menu button allows you to go back or return to the main screen.

3.3. Controlling Mac, iPod, or iPhone

The Apple TV Remote can also control media playback on compatible Mac computers, iPods, and iPhones. Ensure your device supports remote control functionality and is within range. Functions typically include play, pause, volume adjustment, and track navigation.

Note: For multi-player games on Apple TV, an iOS device or a compatible game controller may be required, as the Apple TV Remote is primarily designed for navigation and media playback.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Battery Replacement
