Setup Guide
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Ensure the radio is powered off.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Use a coin or flat-head screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the belt clip and battery cover.
- Carefully remove the battery cover and insert the NiMH battery pack, ensuring correct polarity.
- Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screws. Reattach the belt clip if desired.
- Connect the "Y" cable charging adapter to the micro-USB port on the side of the radio (ensure the rubber cover is fully open). Connect the PSU to a power outlet.

2. Initial Power On
Press and hold the Power/Mode button until the display illuminates. The radio will show the current channel and privacy code.
