- Choose a suitable wall location that is sturdy enough to support the fan's weight and allows for proper air circulation. Ensure it is away from curtains or other objects that could interfere with the blades.
- Mark the drilling points on the wall using the mounting bracket of the motor assembly as a template.
- Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs (not supplied).
- Secure the motor and neck assembly to the wall using screws (not supplied), ensuring it is firmly attached.
4.2 Assembling the Fan

- Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
Your Orient Electric Wall-14 fan features convenient pull cord controls for speed and oscillation.
5.1 Speed Control
- The fan has 3 speed settings.
- Pull the speed control cord (typically the one labeled "AIR" or with fan blade icons) to cycle through the speeds: Off (0), Low (1), Medium (2), High (Full).
- Pulling the cord again will advance to the next speed or turn the fan off.
5.2 Oscillation Control
- The fan features a 90-degree oscillation function to distribute air across a wider area.
- Pull the oscillation control cord (typically the one labeled "OSC" or with arrow icons) to turn the oscillation function On or Off.
- When oscillation is On, the fan head will sweep from side to side.
5.3 Tilt Adjustment
- The fan head can be manually adjusted for upward and downward tilt.
- Loosen the side screw on the fan neck, adjust the fan head to the desired angle, and then tighten the screw firmly to secure the position.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your fan.
6.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
