Setup
Before operating your chainsaw, proper assembly and fueling are crucial.
- Bar and Chain Assembly: Carefully attach the guide bar and saw chain according to the diagrams in your printed manual. Ensure the chain is correctly oriented and seated in the guide bar groove.
- Chain Tensioning: Adjust the chain tension so that it is snug against the guide bar but can still be pulled around by hand. The chain should not sag on the underside of the bar.
- Fueling: Mix gasoline with 2-stroke engine oil at a 2% ratio (e.g., 20ml oil per 1 liter of gasoline). Use the provided mixing bottle for accuracy. Fill the fuel tank, ensuring not to overfill.
- Oiling: Fill the chain oil tank with SAE 10W-30 engine oil. This chainsaw features an automatic and adjustable oil pump.
- Chain Guard: Always install the protective chain cover when the chainsaw is not in use or during transport.

Operating Instructions
Always prioritize safety when operating the chainsaw.
- Starting the Chainsaw: Follow the starting procedure outlined in your manual, typically involving priming, setting the choke, and using the recoil starter. Ensure the chainsaw is on a stable, flat surface before starting.
- Safe Handling: Always hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands. Maintain a balanced stance and keep your feet apart. Never operate the chainsaw above shoulder height.
- Pruning Techniques: Plan your cuts carefully. Avoid cutting into the ground. Be mindful of branches under tension that may spring back. Always cut with the lower edge of the guide bar to prevent kickback.
- Stopping the Chainsaw: Release the throttle trigger and engage the chain brake. Turn off the engine using the stop switch.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your chainsaw.
- Chain Sharpening: A dull chain reduces cutting efficiency and increases kickback risk. Sharpen the chain regularly using the included sharpening rod or have it professionally sharpened.
- Chain Lubrication: Ensure the oil tank is always filled with appropriate chain oil. The automatic oil pump will lubricate the chain during operation.
- Air Filter Cleaning: Clean the air filter periodically to maintain engine performance. A clogged filter can lead to reduced power and increased fuel consumption.
- Spark Plug Inspection: Inspect the spark plug for wear or carbon buildup. Clean or replace as necessary to ensure reliable starting.
- General Cleaning: Keep the chainsaw clean from sawdust, debris, and oil residue.
- Storage: When storing the chainsaw for extended periods, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor. Clean the chainsaw thoroughly and store it in a dry, secure place with the chain guard in place.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your chainsaw, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Chainsaw will not start: Check fuel level, ensure correct fuel mixture, inspect spark plug, check choke setting, and verify the stop switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Chain not moving or moving slowly: Check chain tension, ensure the chain brake is disengaged, inspect the chain for damage or dullness, and verify the oil tank is filled.
- Poor cutting performance: Sharpen the chain, check chain tension, and ensure the guide bar is clean and free of debris.
- Excessive smoke: Ensure the correct fuel-to-oil mixture ratio.
