Operating Instructions

1. Using the Pizza Peel

  1. Lightly dust the pizza peel with flour or semolina. This helps prevent the pizza dough from sticking.
  2. Carefully slide the prepared pizza onto the dusted peel.
  3. With a swift, confident motion, slide the pizza from the peel onto the hot pizza stone or oven surface.
  4. To retrieve the cooked pizza, slide the peel underneath the pizza and lift it out of the oven.

  4. You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit readings using the designated button on the device.

3. Using the Pizza Cutter

  1. Place the cooked pizza on a stable cutting surface.
  2. Hold the pizza cutter firmly by the handle.
  3. Apply downward pressure and roll the sharp wheel across the pizza to create clean slices.

Care and Maintenance

Pizza Peel

  • Hand wash with warm, soapy water after each use.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers that could damage the aluminum surface.
  • Dry thoroughly before storing to prevent water spots or corrosion.

Infrared Thermometer

  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  • Store in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures.
  • Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Pizza Cutter

  • The stainless steel cutting wheel is dishwasher safe. For best results and to maintain sharpness, hand washing is recommended.
  • Dry immediately after washing to prevent water spots.

Troubleshooting

Infrared Thermometer Issues

  • No display/Power issues: Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace with new AAA batteries if necessary.
  • Inaccurate readings: Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Point directly at the target surface.

Pizza Peel Issues

  • Pizza sticking to peel: Ensure the peel is adequately dusted with flour or semolina. Work quickly when transferring the pizza.

Pizza Cutter Issues

  • Cutter not slicing cleanly: Ensure the blade is clean of any dried food residue. Apply firm, even pressure when cutting.
