4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Modway Convene Chaise Lounge is straightforward. It is recommended to have two people for easier assembly.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching.
2. Attach Legs: Identify the chaise lounge legs. Align the pre-drilled holes on the legs with the corresponding holes on the chaise frame. Insert bolts and hand-tighten them initially.
3. Secure Connections: For optimal alignment, slightly loosen any pre-attached screws on the leg brackets to allow for flexibility. Once all bolts are inserted and aligned, fully tighten all screws and bolts using the provided Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.
4. Place Cushions: Position the seat and back cushions onto the chaise lounge frame. The cushions are designed with ties and Velcro straps to secure them to the frame, preventing movement during use. Fasten these ties and straps securely.

• Adjusting the Backrest: To adjust the backrest, gently lift the backrest section. The support bar underneath will disengage from its current notch. Move the backrest to your desired angle and ensure the support bar securely locks into one of the available notches. The chaise offers 2 reclining positions.
• Cushion Security: Ensure all cushion ties and Velcro straps are fastened to prevent cushions from sliding, especially when adjusting the backrest or moving the chaise.
