3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Charge

Upon receiving your DBPOWER Jump Starter, carefully unbox all components. The package includes the jump starter unit, intelligent jumper clamps, a USB charging cable, a user guide, and a jump starter carry case.

Before first use, fully charge the jump starter. The LCD screen will indicate the remaining power. It is recommended to charge the unit to 100% for optimal performance.

3.2 Recharging the Jump Starter

The jump starter can be recharged using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a car charger. The unit features a Type-C port that supports both charging and recharging, offering a 50% faster charging speed and reaching full charge in approximately 5 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

The DBPOWER Jump Starter is designed to jump-start vehicles with up to 7.2L gas or 5.5L diesel engines. Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before use.

  1. Connect the intelligent jumper clamps to the jump starter unit.
  2. Attach the red (positive) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  3. Attach the black (negative) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  4. Ensure the clamps are in correct status (the intelligent clamp indicator light will turn green).
  5. Start the vehicle.
  6. Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the clamps from the battery terminals, starting with the negative (-) clamp, then the positive (+) clamp.

4.2 Using as a Power Bank

With its 18000mAh capacity and smart USB port, the jump starter can charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices at the fastest possible speed. Simply connect your device to the USB output port using a compatible USB cable.

4.3 LED Flashlight Functionality

The unit features a built-in LED flashlight with four variable modes: Light, Strobe, SOS, and Emergency. This is useful for roadside emergencies or outdoor activities.

If you encounter issues with your DBPOWER Jump Starter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
