1. Introduction
The STRONG SRT 7007 HD Satellite Receiver is designed for receiving unencrypted digital TV and radio programs via satellite. This receiver supports DVB-S/S2 standards and delivers Full HD resolution. It features a pre-installed channel list for quick setup, a USB port for media playback, and versatile connectivity options including HDMI and SCART, making it compatible with both modern and older television sets. Its 12-volt compatibility also makes it suitable for mobile use, such as in camping or caravans.

3. Setup and Connections
Follow these steps to connect your STRONG SRT 7007 HD Satellite Receiver to your television and satellite dish.
3.1 Rear Panel Connections

- Satellite Antenna Connection: Connect your satellite dish cable to the "SAT IN" port on the rear panel.
- Video/Audio Connection to TV:
- For modern TVs: Use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect the "HDMI" port on the receiver to an HDMI input on your TV.
- For older TVs: Use a SCART cable (not included) to connect the "TV SCART" port on the receiver to the SCART input on your TV.
- Ethernet Connection (Optional): Connect an Ethernet cable to the "ETHERNET" port for network features, if available and desired.
- USB Connection (Optional): Insert a USB storage device into the "USB" port for media playback or software updates.
- Audio Output (Optional): For external audio systems, use the "AUDIO L/R" RCA outputs or the "COAXIAL S/PDIF" digital audio output.
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the "DC 12V" input on the receiver, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The receiver also supports 12V power for camping use (adapter not included).
3.2 Initial Setup
Once all connections are made, power on your TV and select the correct input source (HDMI or SCART) corresponding to your receiver connection. The receiver should power on and guide you through the initial setup wizard, which typically includes language selection, country, and channel scanning. The receiver comes with a pre-installed German channel list for convenience.
4. Operating Instructions
This section provides an overview of the main functions and how to operate your receiver using the remote control.

4.1 Basic Functions
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the remote control or the front panel to turn the receiver on or off.
- Channel Selection: Use the number buttons to directly enter a channel number, or use the CH+ / CH- buttons to navigate through channels.
- Volume Control: Use the VOL+ / VOL- buttons to adjust the volume.
- Menu Navigation: Press the MENU button to access the main menu. Use the arrow keys (▲ ▼ ◀ ▶) to navigate and OK to confirm selections.
- Electronic Program Guide (EPG): Press the EPG button to view the integrated electronic TV program guide, which provides information about current and upcoming programs.
4.2 Multimedia Playback
The receiver supports playback of pictures, music, and video files via its USB port.
- Insert a USB storage device (e.g., USB stick or external hard drive) into the USB port on the rear panel.
- Navigate to the "Multimedia" or "USB" section in the main menu.
- Select the desired file type (Photo, Music, Video) and browse your files.
- Use the playback controls on the remote (Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind) to manage media.
Note: Software for USB recording and Timeshift function may be available on the manufacturer's website (strong.tv).
5. Maintenance

- Placement: Place the receiver on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
- Software Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website (strong.tv) for available software updates. Updates can improve performance and add new features.
