1. Important Safety Instructions

Read this entire manual carefully before operating the Fuxtec FX-FSR152 wheeled thermal brush cutter. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, heavy-duty long pants, and sturdy, non-slip footwear when operating the machine.
• Fuel Handling: Gasoline is highly flammable. Handle fuel outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from sparks, open flames, or other ignition sources. Do not smoke while fueling.
• Work Area: Clear the work area of debris, rocks, and other objects that could be thrown by the cutting line. Keep bystanders, children, and pets at least 15 meters (50 feet) away from the operating machine.
• Machine Inspection: Before each use, inspect the machine for loose parts, damaged components, or fuel leaks. Do not operate a damaged machine.
• Engine Exhaust: The engine produces carbon monoxide, an odorless and deadly gas. Never operate the machine in an enclosed area.
• Hot Surfaces: The engine and muffler become very hot during operation and can cause burns. Avoid contact with hot surfaces.
• Stability: Operate the wheeled brush cutter on stable ground. Be cautious on slopes and uneven terrain to prevent tipping.

2. Product Overview

3. Assembly

The Fuxtec FX-FSR152 requires some assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully.

1. Attach the Handlebar: Secure the handlebar to the main shaft using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are tight.

2. Install the Wheels: Attach the pneumatic wheels to the axle. Ensure they are securely fastened and can rotate freely.

3. Mount the Safety Guard: Position the safety guard over the cutting head and secure it with the designated screws. The guard must be firmly attached to protect against debris.
4. Attach the Trimmer Head: Install the professional trimmer head onto the shaft. Refer to the specific instructions for the trimmer head for correct line insertion (3mm line).

4. Operation

4.1 Fueling the Machine

The FX-FSR152 uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a gasoline-oil mixture. Use unleaded gasoline mixed with high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 1:40 (2.5% oil). Always use fresh fuel mixture.

• Ensure the engine is off and cool before refueling.
• Clean the area around the fuel cap to prevent dirt from entering the fuel tank.
• Slowly open the fuel cap to release any pressure.
• Fill the tank carefully, avoiding spills. Do not overfill.
• Securely close the fuel cap. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.

4.2 Starting the Engine

1. Place the machine on a flat, stable surface.
2. Set the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
3. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
4. Engage the choke (if cold start).
5. Pull the Easy Starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine starts. Do not pull the cord to its full extension.
6. Once the engine fires, disengage the choke. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before operating at full throttle.

4.3 Operating the Brush Cutter

• Hold the handlebar firmly with both hands.
• Engage the throttle to increase engine speed and activate the cutting line.
• Move the machine slowly and steadily across the area to be trimmed.
• Avoid hitting hard objects like rocks, fences, or tree trunks, as this can damage the cutting line and machine.
• To stop the engine, release the throttle and move the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Fuxtec FX-FSR152.

• Cleaning: After each use, clean the machine, especially the cutting head and engine cooling fins, to remove grass, dirt, and debris. Use a brush or compressed air.
• Trimmer Line Replacement: Replace the 3mm trimmer line as needed. Refer to the trimmer head instructions for the correct procedure. Always use recommended line specifications.
• Air Filter: Periodically inspect and clean the air filter. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance. Replace if damaged.
• Spark Plug: Check the spark plug periodically for wear or carbon buildup. Clean or replace as necessary.
• Fuel Filter: Inspect the fuel filter in the fuel tank and replace if clogged.
• Lubrication: Ensure all moving parts are adequately lubricated as per the detailed manual.
• FUXTEC Oils: For optimal and durable operation, FUXTEC recommends using their original FUXTEC oils, manufactured in Germany.

7. Storage

Proper storage ensures the longevity of your FX-FSR152, especially during off-season periods.

• Clean Thoroughly: Clean the entire machine, removing all grass, dirt, and debris.
• Drain Fuel: Run the engine until it runs out of fuel, or drain the fuel tank and carburetor. This prevents fuel degradation and carburetor clogging.
• Spark Plug: Remove the spark plug and add a small amount of 2-stroke oil into the cylinder. Pull the starter cord a few times to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
• Fold for Storage: The FX-FSR152 features a foldable structure for easy storage. Loosen the designated clamps and fold the handle assembly.
