Setup

1. Powering On

1. Connect the USB cable to the YI Dome Camera's power port.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the provided power adapter.
3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and begin its initialization sequence.

2. App Download and Account Creation

1. Download the YI Home app from the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
2. Open the YI Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in if you already have one.

3. Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. In the YI Home app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
2. Select 'YI Dome Camera' from the list of devices.
3. Follow the voice prompts from the camera and the instructions in the app. You will be asked to connect your phone to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz band only; 5GHz is not supported).
4. A QR code will appear on your phone screen. Hold your phone's screen in front of the camera lens (approximately 4-8 inches away) until the camera scans the code and confirms successful connection.

4. MicroSD Card Installation (Optional)

For local video storage, insert a Class 10 or higher microSD card (8-32GB recommended) into the camera's designated slot. The camera supports continuous recording or event-based recording to the card.

5. Installation Options

The YI Dome Camera offers flexible installation to suit your needs:

• Vertical Placement: Place the camera on any flat surface like a table or shelf.
• Wall Mount: Use the included base tray and screws to mount the camera securely to a wall.
• Ceiling Mount: Attach the camera to the ceiling using the base tray and screws for an inverted view (image can be flipped in app settings).

Operating Instructions

1. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ)

Control the camera's viewing angle directly from the YI Home app. Swipe your finger across the live view to pan horizontally (345°) and tilt vertically (115°). The camera also supports 4x digital zoom to focus on specific areas.

2. Night Vision

The YI Dome Camera is equipped with 8 built-in 940nm infrared LEDs for clear night vision up to 3 meters in complete darkness. The night vision mode activates automatically in low-light conditions, providing discreet monitoring without visible light pollution.

3. Two-Way Audio

Communicate with people or pets on the camera's side using the two-way audio feature. The built-in anti-noise filter microphone ensures clear sound. Choose between:

• Intercom Mode: One party talks and listens at a time.
• Hands-free Mode: Both parties can talk and listen simultaneously for more natural conversation.

4. Motion Detection and Tracking

The camera's advanced motion detection algorithm identifies movements and sends real-time activity alerts to your phone. The 10-second smart motion tracking feature records and centers on the moving object, ensuring you don't miss critical events.

5. Auto-Cruise and Bookmarks

Set up to 8 specific positions as bookmarks within the app. You can easily return to these positions with a single tap. Enable Auto-Cruise to have the camera automatically survey the area 360 degrees horizontally or cycle through your saved bookmarks.

6. YI Home App Features

The YI Home app provides a user-friendly interface to manage all your YI cameras. Customize settings such as activity alert sensitivity, auto-cruise schedules, and camera sharing permissions. You can view live feeds, access recorded footage, and receive notifications from multiple devices on the same account.

7. Cloud Storage
