Typically, digital watches have four buttons with the following functions:

• MODE (Bottom Left): Cycles through display modes (Time, Alarm, Stopwatch).
• LIGHT (Top Left): Activates the LED backlight.
• START/STOP (Top Right): Starts/stops stopwatch, adjusts values during setting.
• RESET/ADJUST (Bottom Right): Resets stopwatch, selects items to adjust during setting.

Setup Instructions

Setting Time and Date

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button repeatedly until the seconds start flashing. This indicates you are in time setting mode.
2. Press the RESET/ADJUST button to cycle through the settings: Seconds → Hours → Minutes → Month → Date → Day of the Week.
3. While a value is flashing, use the START/STOP button to increase or decrease the value. Hold the button to change values faster.
4. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats, press the START/STOP button when the hour setting is flashing. "PM" will appear for PM hours in 12-hour mode.
5. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode and return to the normal time display.

Activating the LED Backlight

Press the LIGHT button (Top Left) to illuminate the display for a few seconds, allowing you to read the time in low-light conditions.

Operating Instructions

Using the Alarm

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter Alarm mode. The alarm time will be displayed.
2. Press the RESET/ADJUST button to select the hour or minute to set. The selected value will flash.
3. Use the START/STOP button to adjust the flashing hour or minute.
4. Press the MODE button to confirm the alarm time.
5. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, while in Alarm mode, press the START/STOP button. An alarm icon (often a bell) will appear or disappear on the display.
6. When the alarm sounds, press any button to stop it.

Using the Stopwatch

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button twice to enter Stopwatch mode. The display will show "00:00:00".
2. Press the START/STOP button to start the stopwatch.
3. Press the START/STOP button again to pause the stopwatch.
4. Press the START/STOP button to resume timing.
5. To reset the stopwatch to "00:00:00", press the RESET/ADJUST button while the stopwatch is paused.
6. Press the MODE button to exit Stopwatch mode and return to the normal time display.

Water Resistance Guidelines (50M)

Your SKMEI watch is rated for 50 meters (5 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for:

• Splashes, rain, and showering (cold water only).
• Short periods of recreational swimming at shallow depths.

Important Precautions:

• DO NOT press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
• DO NOT expose the watch to hot water, steam, or extreme temperature changes (e.g., hot showers, saunas, hot tubs), as this can compromise the water seals.
• DO NOT use for diving, snorkeling, or high-speed water sports.
• After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry thoroughly.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or the watch stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. This should ideally be done by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
• Storage: Store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
