2. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for quick and easy installation of your portable air conditioner.
2.1 Unpacking and Placement:
- Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Verify all included components are present: portable air conditioner, remote control, flexible exhaust hose, window venting kit, manual, and warranty information.
2.2 Window Kit Installation:
The window venting kit is designed for most standard vertical and horizontal windows. The maximum hose length is 4 feet.
- Assemble the window bracket kit according to the instructions provided in the separate manual.
- Connect one end of the flexible exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the opening in the window bracket. Ensure a secure fit to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.

3. Operating Instructions
Your Honeywell portable air conditioner offers multiple operating modes for various comfort needs.
3.1 Control Panel and Remote Control:
The unit can be operated using the digital control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. Both offer access to all functions.
3.2 Operating Modes:
- Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling for your room. Set your desired temperature using the digital controls.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, collecting up to 80 pints per 24 hours. A continuous drain option is available for extended operation (hose not included for continuous drain).
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling, offering three fan speeds (High, Mid, Low).
3.3 Special Features:
- Sleep Mode: Activates a quiet operation mode and gradually adjusts the temperature for comfortable sleep.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.
4.1 Cleaning the Air Filters:
The unit features dual filters designed to protect from dust and hair. Clean the filters regularly (every two weeks or more often depending on usage and air quality) to maintain efficiency.
- Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter covers on the back of the unit.
- Gently open the covers and remove the filters.

- Rinse the filters under running tap water until clean. Do not use hot water or harsh detergents.
- Allow the filters to air dry completely before re-inserting them into the unit.
- Close the filter covers securely.
4.2 Draining Accumulated Water:
While the unit has an auto-evaporation system, in areas with high humidity, water may accumulate in the internal tank. The unit will stop operating when the tank is full, indicated by a 'Water Full' light on the control panel.
- Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it.
- Place a shallow pan or bucket under the drain outlet at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
5. Troubleshooting
