3.1. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

Open the battery/memory card cover located on the bottom of the camera. Insert the NP-BX1 battery pack with the correct orientation until it clicks into place. Insert a compatible SDXC memory card into the slot until it locks. Close the cover securely.

3.2. Charging the Battery

Connect the camera to the AC Adaptor AC-UUD12 using the supplied Micro USB cable. Plug the AC adaptor into a wall outlet. The charge lamp will illuminate during charging and turn off when charging is complete. A full charge provides approximately 390 shots.

3.3. Initial Power On and Settings

Press the ON/OFF button to power on the camera. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the date, time, and language. Ensure these settings are accurate for proper photo and video metadata.
