1. Introduction

The Rowenta Compact Power Cyclonic vacuum cleaner is designed for efficient and user-friendly operation. It offers practical ergonomics, making it easy to use, transport, and store. This model features a powerful, high-efficiency suction brush for excellent performance on hard floors. Its monocyclonic system ensures a high level of air-dust separation. The product also includes a two-stage filtration system: a foam filter before the motor and a high-efficiency filter at the air outlet, capturing 99.98% of vacuumed dust particles.

2. Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time. Keep this manual for future reference.

4. Setup

  1. Attach the Flexible Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the suction inlet on the main unit until it clicks into place.
  2. Assemble the Telescopic Tube: Connect the telescopic tube to the handle of the flexible hose. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube by pressing the release button and sliding it to the desired position.
  3. Attach the Floor Brush: Connect the desired floor brush (e.g., high-efficiency suction brush or parquet brush) to the end of the telescopic tube.
  4. Power Connection: Extend the power cord from the back of the unit and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button located on the main unit to start the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Adjust Suction: The suction power can be adjusted via the air flow regulator on the hose handle.
  3. Vacuuming Floors: Use the high-efficiency suction floor brush for general cleaning on various floor types. For delicate hard floors like parquet, attach the dedicated parquet brush.
  4. Using Accessories:
    • The 2-in-1 crevice tool is ideal for narrow spaces, corners, and upholstery.
  5. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the appliance.
  6. Cord Rewind: Press the cord rewind button to automatically retract the power cord.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin

The vacuum cleaner is bagless and features a 1.5-liter dustbin. Empty the dustbin regularly to maintain optimal suction performance.

  1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
  2. Press the dustbin release button and carefully remove the dustbin from the main unit.
  3. Position the dustbin over a waste bin and press the bottom release button to open the lid and empty the contents.
  4. Close the dustbin lid securely and reattach the dustbin to the main unit until it clicks into place.

6.2 Cleaning the Filters

The vacuum cleaner features a two-stage filtration system: a foam filter and a high-efficiency filter. Regular cleaning of these filters is essential for maintaining performance and air quality.

  1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Remove the dustbin as described above.
  3. Access the foam filter, typically located within or near the dustbin assembly. Remove it.
  4. Locate the high-efficiency filter, usually positioned at the air outlet. Remove it.
  5. Rinse both filters under cold running water. Do not use detergents.
  6. Allow the filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating devices.
  7. Once dry, reinsert the filters into their respective positions and reattach the dustbin.

6.3 Storage
