1. Introduction

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation of your computer components into the PS13B case.

3.1 Preparing the Case

1. Remove Side Panels: Locate the thumbscrews at the rear of the case. Unscrew them and carefully slide off both side panels.
2. Accessory Pack: Locate the accessory pack inside the case, which contains necessary screws and standoffs.

3.2 Motherboard Installation

1. Install Standoffs: Align your ATX motherboard with the pre-drilled holes on the motherboard tray and install the necessary standoffs.
2. Mount Motherboard: Carefully place the motherboard onto the standoffs and secure it with screws. The case features a motherboard back plate opening for quick CPU cooler assembly, allowing cooler installation or removal without detaching the motherboard.

3.3 Power Supply Installation

The PS13B supports a top-mounted ATX power supply. Install your power supply unit into the designated bay at the top rear of the case and secure it with screws from the rear.

3.4 Storage Drive Installation

The case offers highly flexible drive storage options for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives. Refer to the internal drive cages for specific mounting points and use the provided screws to secure your HDDs and SSDs.

3.5 Graphics Card and Expansion Card Installation

Install your graphics card and other expansion cards into the motherboard's PCIe slots. The case supports graphics cards up to 13.7 inches (348mm) in length. Secure expansion cards using the provided locking device or screws.

3.6 Fan Installation and Airflow

The PS13B includes one 120mm fan and supports additional fans for optimized cooling. The front panel has mount points for two 120mm fans behind the integrated air filter. Two additional 120mm fans can be mounted on the left side cover, one in the rear (where the included fan is typically placed), and one in the bottom.

3.7 Front I/O Connections

Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, audio, power switch, reset switch, LED indicators) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. The front I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks.

4. Operating the Case

Once all components are installed and connected, replace the side panels and secure them with the thumbscrews. Connect your peripherals and power cable to the system.

• Power Button: Press the power button on the front panel to turn on your computer.
• USB Ports: Use the front USB 3.0 ports for connecting external devices.
• Audio Jacks: Connect headphones and microphones to the front audio jacks.

• Dust Filters: The PS13B features quick access filters for easy cleaning. Periodically remove and clean these filters to prevent dust buildup and maintain good airflow.

• Component Fit: Ensure all components, especially large graphics cards and ATX motherboards, are properly seated and do not obstruct other parts or the case structure. Verify dimensions before installation.
• Cable Management: Poor cable management can hinder airflow. Organize cables to allow for unobstructed air movement.
• Fan Noise/Performance: Check that all fans are properly connected and spinning freely. Clean dust filters if airflow seems restricted.
