What's in the Box
Your package should contain the following items:
- Digital Aquarium Thermometer (2 units for 2-pack style)
- User Manual
- LR44 Button Cell Battery (pre-installed or included separately)
Setup and Installation
- Install Battery: If not already installed, open the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer unit and insert the LR44 button cell battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Close the compartment securely.
- Position the Display Unit: Attach the main thermometer display unit to the exterior glass of your aquarium or terrarium using the provided suction cup. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
- Submerge the Probe: Carefully submerge only the metal probe into the water of your fish tank or the environment you wish to monitor. Use the small suction cup attached to the probe wire to secure it in place within the tank. Do not submerge the main display unit in water.
- Power On: Press the 'PWR' button on the front of the thermometer to turn it on. The current temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.

- Switch Temperature Units: The thermometer can display temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). Press the '°C/°F' button located on the front of the unit to toggle between the two units.
- Reading Temperature: The current temperature will be continuously displayed on the large LCD screen. Ensure the probe remains submerged in the water for accurate readings.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display unit with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the display unit in water. The probe can be gently cleaned with a soft brush if algae or debris accumulates.
- Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or stops working, it's time to replace the LR44 button cell battery. Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit, remove the old battery, and insert a new LR44 battery with the correct polarity.
- Suction Cup Care: If the suction cups lose their grip, clean them and the surface they attach to with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. This can help restore their adhesive properties.
Troubleshooting
- No Display/Dim Display: Check if the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace the LR44 battery if needed.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the probe is fully submerged in the water and not touching the tank walls or substrate. Verify that the probe is clean and free of debris. Compare readings with another known accurate thermometer if possible.
- Suction Cups Not Sticking: Clean both the suction cups and the tank surface thoroughly. Ensure the surface is smooth and free of air bubbles when applying the suction cup.
