Setup Instructions

1. Placement:
   • Place the subwoofer on a stable surface, preferably near your TV or main viewing area.
   • Position the soundbar directly below your TV, centered for optimal front soundstage.
   • Place the four satellite speakers around your listening area. Two should be positioned slightly behind and to the sides of the listening position for surround effects, and two can be used as additional front speakers if desired, or wall-mounted using the provided hardware.
2. Speaker Connections:
   • Connect the soundbar and satellite speakers to the corresponding 5.1CH Speaker Output terminals on the rear of the subwoofer. Ensure that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the speakers match those on the subwoofer. Incorrect polarity can affect sound quality.
3. Audio Source Connection (RCA/AUX):
   • Using the provided RCA cables, connect the audio output of your TV, DVD player, or other audio device to the RCA/AUX Audio Input on the rear of the subwoofer. Match the red and white connectors.
4. Power Connection:
   • Connect the power cable to the Power Cable Input on the subwoofer, then plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
5. Initial Power On:
   • Flip the Power Switch on the rear of the subwoofer to the "ON" position. The POWER indicator on the front panel should illuminate.

Operating Instructions

Selecting Input Mode

Press the MODE button on the subwoofer's front panel or the remote control to cycle through available input sources: AUX, 5.1CH, and BT (Bluetooth). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Select "BT" mode using the MODE button. The BT indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for available Bluetooth devices.
3. Select "Sharper Image SBT5100BK" (or similar name) from the list.
4. Once paired, the BT indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now play audio from your device through the sound system.
5. Use the playback controls on the subwoofer or remote for track navigation (Previous, Play/Pause, Next).

Volume Control

Rotate the large knob on the front of the subwoofer clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease. Press the knob to mute or unmute the audio. Volume can also be adjusted using the remote control.

Remote Control

The included remote control provides convenient access to all functions, including power, input mode selection, volume adjustment, and Bluetooth playback controls. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the IR receiver on the subwoofer's front panel.
