4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the room where air purification is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 6 inches from walls or furniture).
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Vornado AC350 features simple electronic controls located on the top of the unit.

• Power On/Off: Press the power button (U) to turn the unit on or off.
• Speed Selection: After powering on, the unit will typically start on a default speed. Press the speed button repeatedly to cycle through the three available speeds: Low, Medium, and High.
• Filter Indicators: The 'REPLACE CARBON' and 'REPLACE HEPA' indicator lights will illuminate when it's time to check or replace the respective filters. Refer to the Maintenance section for details.

6. Maintenance

Filter Replacement

1. Power Off and Unplug: Always turn off and unplug the air purifier before attempting any maintenance.
2. Remove Front Cover: Gently pull the front cover of the unit to detach it.
3. Remove Filters: The carbon pre-filter and True HEPA filter are located behind the front cover. Carefully remove the old filters.
4. Insert New Filters: Place the new True HEPA filter first, followed by the carbon pre-filter. Ensure they are seated correctly.
5. Reattach Cover: Align the front cover and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
6. Reset Filter Indicator: After replacing a filter, press and hold the corresponding 'REPLACE' button on the control panel for 3-5 seconds until the light turns off.
