Setup

1. Activation:

To activate your Optimus 2.0 GPS Tracker, follow the steps provided on the included Activation Instructions Card. This typically involves visiting the Optimus Tracker website, clicking the "Activate Tracker" link, and filling out the form with your device's IMEI number (a 15-digit number found on the tracker's label). After subscribing, allow a minute for the activation email and check your spam/junk folder if not received.

2. Charging the Battery:

Before first use, fully charge the tracker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the tracker's charging port and plug the other end into the wall adapter. The red light on the tracker will flash while charging and become solid when fully charged. Battery charge typically lasts at least one week, depending on usage and reporting frequency.

Operating Instructions

Turning the Tracker On/Off:

To turn the tracker on, press and hold the power button until the lights illuminate. To turn it off, press and hold the power button until the unit vibrates and all lights turn off.

Placement:

The Optimus 2.0 GPS Tracker receives a GPS signal from the sky. This signal can penetrate through plastics, fabrics, and under a car seat or in the glove compartment. However, GPS signal does not work inside closed metal environments such as the cargo area of a metal box truck, container, or trailer. For optimal performance, avoid placing the tracker in such locations.

Using the App and Web Interface:

Access your tracker's real-time location and historical data through the dedicated mobile application (available on iOS and Android) or the web platform.
