5.1 Power Connection
Your Prixton P110 sewing machine can be powered in two ways:
- AC Power: Connect the provided AC power adapter to the machine's power input and then to a standard electrical outlet.
- Battery Power: For portable use, insert the required batteries (1 Lithium-ion battery) into the designated battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity.
5.2 Threading the Machine
- Winding the Bobbin: Place an empty bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle. Guide the thread from the spool pin through the tension disc and around the bobbin. Engage the bobbin winder and start the machine to wind the thread evenly.
- Inserting the Bobbin: Open the bobbin cover and insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case, ensuring the thread unwinds in the correct direction.
- Upper Threading: Place a spool of thread on the spool pin. Guide the thread through the various guides and tension discs as indicated by the numbering on the machine, ending by threading the needle from front to back. Use the needle threader for ease.
5.3 Needle and Presser Foot Installation
- Needle: Ensure the flat side of the needle faces the back of the machine when inserting. Tighten the needle clamp screw securely.
- Presser Foot: Attach the desired presser foot by aligning it with the presser foot holder and lowering the presser foot lifter until it clicks into place.
