1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Capello CR22 Sleep and Charge Dual Alarm Clock. This device combines a digital alarm clock with dual USB charging ports, allowing you to charge your mobile devices conveniently while you sleep. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the unit and retain it for future reference.

3. Product Features

Dual USB Charger: Two USB ports to charge two phones or devices simultaneously.
Large Display: Highly readable 1.2" white LED display with variable dimmer settings.
Nap and Sleep Timer: Set a sleep timer for music (15/30/60/90 minutes) or a nap timer.
Digital AM/FM Radio: Listen to radio with clear digital tuning and save up to 10 favorite stations.
Dual Alarm Clock: Set two independent alarms for different wake-up times.
Line-in Jack: Play music from any device with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Battery Backup: Time and alarm settings are saved during power outage (AAA batteries not included).

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

Unpack the Capello CR22 alarm clock and its AC power adapter.
Insert the small end of the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack located on the back of the alarm clock.
Plug the other end of the AC power adapter into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V, 60Hz). The display will light up.

4.2 Battery Backup Installation (Optional)

For battery backup functionality during power outages, install 2 AAA batteries (not included).

Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert 2 new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover.

The battery backup will maintain time and alarm settings during a power interruption, but the display will not be illuminated.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Time

Press and hold the TIME SET button (often represented by a clock icon) located on the top panel until the hour digits begin to flash.
Press the + or - buttons to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the AM/PM indicator.
Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
Press the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
Press the TIME SET button one more time to save the time and exit time setting mode.

5.2 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)

The CR22 allows for two independent alarms.

Press and hold the ALARM 1 button (bell icon with '1') until the alarm hour digits flash.
Use the + or - buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
Press the ALARM 1 button again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting.
Use the + or - buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
Press the ALARM 1 button again to select the alarm source (Buzzer, FM Radio, or AM Radio).
Press the ALARM 1 button one more time to save the alarm setting. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
Repeat the process for ALARM 2 using the ALARM 2 button (bell icon with '2').

5.3 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button on the top of the unit. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.

5.4 Turning Off the Alarm

To turn off the alarm completely for the day, press the corresponding ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button once while the alarm is sounding. The alarm icon will disappear from the display.

5.5 Radio Operation (AM/FM)

Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to turn on the radio.
Press the BAND button to switch between FM and AM bands.
Press the TUNE + or TUNE - buttons to manually tune to a station. Press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.
To save a preset station, press and hold the PRESET button until the preset number flashes. Use + or - to select a preset number, then press PRESET again to save.
To recall a preset station, press the PRESET button repeatedly to cycle through saved stations.
Adjust volume using the VOLUME + or VOLUME - buttons.

5.6 USB Charging

The Capello CR22 features two USB charging ports on the front of the unit.

Connect your device's USB charging cable (not included) to one of the USB ports on the alarm clock.
Connect the other end of the cable to your smartphone, tablet, or other USB-powered device.
Charging will begin automatically.

Note: Charging speed may vary depending on the device and cable used. These ports are for charging only and do not support data transfer.

5.7 Display Dimmer

Press the DIMMER button (sun icon) on the top panel to cycle through different brightness levels for the display, including off.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
Battery Replacement: If using battery backup, replace AAA batteries annually or when the display shows signs of dimming during a power outage.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
No display/Unit not turning on.	Power adapter not connected or faulty outlet.	Ensure AC adapter is securely plugged into the unit and a working wall outlet. Try a different outlet.
Alarm does not sound.	Alarm not set, alarm volume too low, or alarm turned off.	Verify alarm time is set correctly and alarm icon is visible. Increase alarm volume. Ensure alarm is not turned off for the day.
Poor radio reception.	Antenna not extended or interference.	Fully extend the FM wire antenna. For AM, try repositioning the unit. Keep away from other electronic devices.
USB charging not working.	Cable issue, device not compatible, or unit not powered.	Ensure the alarm clock is powered on. Try a different USB cable or device. Some high-power devices may charge slower or not at all.
