4. Setup

1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the 2x AAA (LR03) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Press the 'ZERO' button to turn on the scale.
• The scale will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life. You can also press and hold the 'ZERO' button to manually turn it off.

5.2 Unit Selection

• With the scale turned on, press the 'MODE' button to cycle through available units (e.g., grams, pounds, ounces, milliliters for water/milk).

5.3 Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively without removing previous ones, or to subtract the weight of the container.

5.4 Weighing Liquids (Water and Milk Volume Calculation)

1. Place the empty bowl on the scale and press 'ZERO'.
