3. Setup

3.1 Assembling the Stand

Attach the stand base to the stand neck, then secure the assembled stand to the monitor panel. Ensure all screws are tightened securely. No tools are required for assembly.

3.2 Connecting the Monitor

1. Connect the power cord to the monitor and then to a wall outlet.
2. Connect the HDMI or DisplayPort cable from your computer's graphics card to the corresponding input on the monitor.
3. For audio output, connect external speakers or headphones to the headphone jack on the monitor (if desired).

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button (usually a joystick-like control located at the bottom center of the monitor) to turn the monitor on or off.

• Eye Care: Enable features like Adaptive Picture, Min. Backlight, and Eye Saver Mode for reduced eye strain.
• PIP/PBP: Configure Picture-in-Picture or Picture-by-Picture modes for viewing multiple sources simultaneously.
• OnScreen Display: Adjust transparency, position, language, and display time of the OSD menu.
• System: Access general system settings.
• Support: Find self-diagnosis, software update, product registration, and information.

4.3 Screen Split and On-Screen Control

Install the LG On-Screen Control software on your computer to utilize features like Screen Split, which allows you to arrange multiple windows efficiently on the UltraWide display.

4.4 Adjusting the Stand

• Height Adjustment: Gently push or pull the monitor panel up or down to adjust its height.
• Tilt Adjustment: Hold the top and bottom edges of the monitor panel and gently tilt it forwards or backwards to achieve your desired viewing angle.
