Setup and Assembly

The Karcher G2700 pressure washer is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your unit for first use:

  1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping.
  2. Wheel Installation: Attach the 8-inch pneumatic tires to the frame. Ensure the tires are adequately inflated for easy transport.
  3. Handle Assembly: Secure the folding handle to the main unit. The folding design allows for compact storage.
  4. Engine Oil Addition: Before starting, add the recommended 10W-30 engine oil. The initial shipment includes the correct amount of oil (approximately 20 fl oz). Do not overfill; check the oil level using the dipstick, ensuring it is within the marked area. This is a 4-cycle engine; do not mix oil with gasoline.
  5. Fuel Addition: Fill the fuel tank with 87 octane or higher unleaded gasoline.
  6. Hose Connections: Connect your garden hose to the water inlet, located under the frame. Use the provided gasket to ensure a watertight seal. Connect the high-pressure hose (25 ft PVC) to the pump outlet and the spray wand. Three extra O-rings are included for future use.
  7. Nozzle Attachment: Select the desired quick-connect nozzle and attach it to the spray wand.
