The Ryobi RAG 800-125G features a LLO (Lock-Off) system for protection against accidental starts in the event of a power failure. This means if power is interrupted, the tool will not restart automatically when power is restored.
- Ensure the tool is plugged into a suitable power outlet.
- To start, press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then depress the trigger switch.
- To stop, release the trigger switch.
3.2 Proper Grip and Posture
Always maintain a firm grip with both hands on the main handle and the side handle. Stand in a balanced position, keeping your body clear of the rotating disc and potential kickback paths.
3.3 Grinding and Cutting Techniques
Allow the disc to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece. Apply light, even pressure. Avoid forcing the tool, as this can lead to kickback or damage to the disc and tool.
