Setup
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartments on both the display unit and the wireless transmitter base. Insert the 4 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Connect Probe: Plug the stainless steel probe into the jack on the wireless transmitter base.
- Power On: Turn on both the display unit and the transmitter base using their respective ON/OFF switches.
- Pairing: The units should automatically pair. If not, ensure they are within range and try turning them off and on again.

Operation
Using the Thermometer
- Select Meat Type: Press the MEAT button to cycle through preset meat types (Beef, Lamb, Veal, Hamburger, Pork, Turkey, Chicken, Fish).
- Select Doneness (Taste): After selecting the meat, press the TASTE button to choose the desired level of doneness (e.g., Rare, Medium, Well). The target temperature will adjust automatically.
- Set Custom Temperature: To set a custom target temperature, press the MODE button until "SET TEMP" is displayed. Use the MIN/+ and SEC/- buttons to adjust the temperature. Press MODE again to confirm.
- Insert Probe: Carefully insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bones.
- Monitor Temperature: The display unit will show the current internal temperature of the food and the target temperature. An alarm will sound when the target temperature is reached.

Using the Timer
- Activate Timer Mode: Press the MODE button until "TIMER" is displayed.
- Set Countdown Timer: Use the MIN/+ and SEC/- buttons to set the desired countdown time (up to 99 minutes, 59 seconds). Press START/STOP to begin.
- Count-Up Timer: To use as a count-up timer, ensure the timer is set to 00:00, then press START/STOP.
- Stop/Reset Timer: Press START/STOP to pause or resume the timer. Press CLEAR to reset the timer to 00:00.

Care and Maintenance
