Introduction
The Oral-B Oxyjet Oral Irrigator is designed to provide a deep and thorough cleaning for your mouth, promoting healthier gums. Utilizing advanced microbubble technology, it enriches water with purified air to target and eliminate harmful bacteria below the gumline. This device not only enhances gum health but also effectively removes food debris from interdental spaces. The water pressure is adjustable, allowing for a personalized cleaning experience. For optimal daily oral hygiene, the Oral-B Oxyjet can be used in conjunction with mouthwash.

1. Setup
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: the main unit, water reservoir, irrigator handle, and four Oxyjet nozzles.
- Position the Unit: Place the Oral-B Oxyjet on a stable, flat surface near an electrical outlet and a sink.
- Attach the Reservoir: Fill the water reservoir with lukewarm water. For enhanced cleaning, you may add mouthwash to the water, ensuring it is suitable for oral irrigators. Securely place the filled reservoir onto the main unit.
- Insert a Nozzle: Select one of the four Oxyjet nozzles. Insert the nozzle firmly into the handle until it clicks into place. Each nozzle has a colored ring for individual identification if multiple users share the device.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
2. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the power button on the main unit to turn on the device.
- Adjust Water Pressure: Use the pressure control dial located on the main unit to select your desired water pressure level. Start with a lower setting (1-2) and gradually increase to a comfortable level (up to 5).
- Select Jet Function: The Oxyjet nozzle offers two jet functions:
- Monojet (Straight Stream): For targeted cleaning and removal of food particles.
- Multijet (Rotating Stream with Microbubbles): For gentle gum massage and overall cleaning with microbubble technology.
- Begin Cleaning: Lean over the sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming it at your gumline. Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow into the sink.
- Technique: Guide the water jet along your gumline and between your teeth. Pause briefly between each tooth. Ensure you clean both the front and back surfaces of your teeth.
- Duration: Continue for approximately 2-3 minutes or until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth.
- Power Off: Press the power button on the main unit to turn off the device.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Daily Cleaning
- Empty Reservoir: After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
- Rinse Reservoir: Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water and allow it to air dry.
- Rinse Nozzle: Remove the nozzle from the handle and rinse it under running water. Store it in the designated nozzle compartment on the unit.
- Wipe Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth to remove any water spots or residue.
3.2 Periodic Cleaning
- Deep Clean Reservoir: Periodically, clean the reservoir with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Nozzle Replacement: Replace Oxyjet nozzles every 3-6 months, or sooner if the bristles become splayed or damaged, to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Descaling (if necessary): If you notice reduced water flow or mineral deposits, descale the unit using a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Run this solution through the unit, then rinse by running several reservoirs of clean water.
