The 30-model internal memory provides ample storage for your aircraft settings, and this memory can be expanded using a memory card (not included).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

To maximize the lifespan of your LiFe battery, avoid fully discharging it. Recharge the battery when the low voltage warning appears. For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity and store it in a cool, dry place. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.

5.2 Cleaning and Storage

Clean the transmitter's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the unit. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. When not in use, store the transmitter in a protective case to prevent dust accumulation and physical damage.

5.3 Software Updates

The 18SZH's software is updateable. Periodically check the official Futaba website for firmware updates. Updating the software can provide new features, performance enhancements, and bug fixes. Follow the instructions provided with the update files carefully to avoid damaging the unit.
